Inside the Chart
By Bryndis Ogmundson !Earshot Charts Editor
So here’s the thing…
I received the financing I needed to open my music store. Therefore, I’m up to my eyeballs in work. What does that mean exactly, “up to my eyeballs?”
Anywhoo, I could go on and on about how great it is to see all those great albums in the top 10. And so many Canadian albums in there as well: Chad VanGaalen (#1!), The Dears (#2), Hidden Cameras (#3), and so forth. Or, we could just do a contest. I’m opting for the latter.
Decemberists - The Crane WifeSo, what could I give away? Oh! I know! How about a fantastic lithograph from the new Decemberists album, The Crane Wife? Yeah, that sounds good. And thanks to our friends at EMI, I can do just that. Simply be one of the first 5 people to email me (music@cfur.ca) with the correct charting position of The Crane Wife in the October 2006 chart, and you’ll get a beautiful piece of Decemberists art in the mail.
