Tapes 'n Tapes
Tapes 'n Tapes
Being compared to the Pixies and Pavement has its ups and downs. Ups = great incentive for unfamiliar listeners to check you out, Google searches for the Pixies that may bring up a mention of them in one of your album reviews is a good way to get your name out, and being compared to the Pixies and Pavement is just cool. Downs = a lot of fucking pressure! I don't think tapes n tapes really care about this stuff though. They seem to just make music they like, and if it just so happens to come out like a classic indie rock track, well, more power to them...

Favourite book and why?

Recently I've been really into Chuck Palahniuk. I realize this is about 5 years behind the times and rather passé, but that dude is crazy.
