Brian and Dave: Alone and
together all at once.
I'm finding it difficult to write an intro for this at the moment, because I'm drooling all over myself. Why am I drooling you ask? (I know you probably didn't, I'm not that lame... but go with me on this). Well, I'm drooling because I just purchased the brand new album from FemBots, The City . It is bliss in a jewel case. Gorgeaous!! Guaranteed to be on my top ten of the year. My first experience with FemBots was seeing them live at New Music West a few years ago. They were so fantastic that I've been a faithful lover ever since. Of the duo that brings forth my elixir of sound, Dave took a moment to humour me...

Name: Dave MacKinnon - FemBots

Your defining feature/quirk?

Hopefully I don't have one and if I do hopefully someone will tell me so I can change it.

Your recent work of genius?

Grew a full beard. Got a hair-cut.

Inspirations/Muses?

Anything and everything. History, books, films, home, away, politics, etc, etc. Plus my writing partner and fellow FemBot - Brian Poirier.

Favourite book and why?

This week, In The Skin Of The Lion (Michael Ondaatje). It makes my hometown seem strange and exotic.
