Most under-rated record of the year

The Ponys - Celebration Castle – (In The Red)
Almost no one talks about this, when it's an incredible rock album.  Revivalist? Sure.  But how many other albums force you to listen to the whole album every time you put them on?  It grabs you and won’t let you stop until it’s finished.

Most over-rated record of the year

Bell Orchestre - Recording a Tape the Colour of the Light – (Rough Trade)
Talk about riding on the coattails of well-noticed friends/a hyped city.  A fairly typical post-rock outing that isn't deserving of a whole lot of attention.

Best personal campus/community radio moment or experience of the year.

Every time someone called in to ask what the title of the last song was, or who the last artist played was.  It's actually really exciting to know that people are excited about being exposed to new music.

Record you are most anticipating for 2006

I'm going to assume this is most anticipated for 2006.  And to be honest, I don't really anticipate anything.  I'm sure there are many great records I'll enjoy... but it's probably best if I just let things come as they will.
