Inbox(1) ~Metal Hearts~By Bryndis Ogmundson2 of 2 <Back Favourite album and why? Flora- Dry by PJ Harvey OR Is This Desire? by PJ Harvey. These are the only two albums that I love from the first song to the last. She has a mind-blowing way with rhythm, and I discover something new each time I listen. To me, she's the only truly original artist I've ever heard and has developed her own personal amazing genre. She always gives me something I've never heard before. And the best part is, she's a woman doing all of this in a male-dominated business. What a great career. Anar- Arab Strap's Monday At The Hug And Pint because not only is it beautiful sounding, it's also an album I associate with a really incredible time in my life. Plus Aidan finally started singing on this one. Sam- Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos. Favourite Beatles song and why? Sam- I love so many of them... ooo, "Yesterday"! No, wait, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." That's the one. Anar- "Julia" because I think it's very pretty. I used to listen to it a lot when I had a crush on a "Julia". Even though it's about his mom. Favourite cartoon character and why? Anar- Homer Simpson. I grew up watching The Simpsons. I started watching it at 8 or 9, so it's been about 10 years now. Sometimes I feel like Homer is a second father. Flora- Michaelangelo, the Ninja Turtle. I always loved him from way back. He loved his pizza. Plans for world domination? I don't think any of us want to take over the world, but we plan on touring Europe later this year. That's probably the closest we'll get to dominating the world. 2 of 2 <Back |
