How I Learned To Love Our Robot OverlordsSynthetic Sounds ( http://www.syntheticsounds.ca/ )
I you like rock that's laced with razor blades and sharp electronic shock then How I Learned To Love Our Robot Overlords is worth a try. The aggressive rhythms and vocals that are sprinkled with synths equate to a pretty fair industrial-metal album. The entire thematic content of the album revolves around war, anger and violent resistance. The themes are fortified with grinding synths, heavy drums and lots of bass accompanied by tortured voice effects. These falsetto vocals with hints of rap and driving electro-rock riffs are reminiscent of Mindless Self Indulgence. Raggedy Angry compose their songs with an intense complexity. Forget repetition, each song is a continual story dealing with futuristic regimes and rebellion.
