Best local releases

Sigrid Geddes-Twisted Gypsy-(Independent). Lives in Wilno. This deep folk album is Sigrid's first release. She wrote all the lyrics and music. It's her on guitar with strings accompanying...no bass! What a wild woman. Confident, yet reveals herself as vulnerable and open to change in general. Www.sigridnaturals.com

Church of Trees

Church Of Trees-Primitive Creatures-(Independent). Church of Trees is a debut collaboration by Otttawa Valley musicians Felicity DeCarle, Bernard Frazer, Jordon Zadorozny and Charlie Valentine. Best live show you saw this year

Weber Brothers at the Wilno Tavern in Wilno.

Best personal campus/community radio moment or experience of the year.

Interviewing Georgie Cogswell, who sang old “local” songs from the hippie days and told stories about those times.

Record you are most anticipating for 2018

New album by Jody DiGregorio (local).
